Phrasing: Play with the call & response idea in mind. Your solo is like a conversation and it should flow smoothly. Avoid playing a bunch of riffs back to back. You need to listen to what you're doing and weave your ideas together smoothly and give way to musical tendency. Also consider the timing of your start and finish point.
