We're continuing with Pride and Joy, and Wes has sent through a power tab file for the verses of the song, as well as some backing tracks (in E and at different speeds) to practice with. Try to work on the intro from session 11 and this new material.

As a reminder, we collectively decided that we will be work on Texas blues style playing for the whole 8 sessions this fall. Here's a couple of backing tracks in E to practice with: 1 • 2 • 3 We're also going to have a jam night soon to play some of the tunes from the winter/spring.

It was good to have Brandon join us for his first session, and to see Justin back - and of course the regular crew. Some of you might notice that I removed the "Old Boys Almost Beginners..." from the top of each page; we're just a blues guitar club now :) .
